These shoes provide a very comfortable and stable experience for daily training.
I've only done a few runs in them so far, but they feel great. They have a bit narrower toe box than most these days which I prefer, and the cushioning/comfort level is great, especially considering the light weight.
The color on these might be a little too bright for the final months of winter in the Northeast but my first run in them was Bluffton, SC. They were super comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend these for your every day runs and longer runs.
I like the foam on those shoes because they are not too firm and not too soft. They offer a bit of a spring forward element. They are pretty light overall and remind me of Hoka Mach 6, but with more of a forward bounce. The only issues I have felt is that the tongue is not anchored, so it can get bunched. I always wear my shoes a half size bigger than snug, and I feel that if you are between two sizes, using your larger size is recommended hear just to aid in what could potentially be a slightly narrow fit. I buy wide hokas but didnโt need these to be wideโ just a little looser does the trick.
This is my first pair of Sauconys. I have tried all the major brands. My everyday runner was the Evo SL but my last pair was ready for retirement and the Azura launched so I figured Iโd give them a go. I canโt complain. The shoe is light, fit is great, and it just feels fast. That might be the only โdownsideโ was I go on my base runs and I look down at my pace and Iโm a good 10 seconds faster than I mean to be.
I sold my Evo SL's due to instability although they were very comfortable. The Azura's are comfortable , stable, but definitely not as plush as the Evo SL's. I've tried doing a slow easy recovery run in them just to break them in but did not feel great. I'd done tempo/speed work in these shoes and that's where it really shines. No heel slippage
Finally the perfect saucony trainer! Great on easy runs and at faster paces. Fit and design is legit. Light weight and nimble with the perfect amount of cushioning. Only have about 20 miles on them so far so the only unknown is the durability of the outsole. Hopefully can get more miles out of these than the endorphins speed.
