Pleasantly Surprised
This is my first pair of Sauconys. I have tried all the major brands. My everyday runner was the Evo SL but my last pair was ready for retirement and the Azura launched so I figured I’d give them a go. I can’t complain. The shoe is light, fit is great, and it just feels fast. That might be the only “downside” was I go on my base runs and I look down at my pace and I’m a good 10 seconds faster than I mean to be.
Good for tempo/speed workouts
I sold my Evo SL's due to instability although they were very comfortable. The Azura's are comfortable , stable, but definitely not as plush as the Evo SL's. I've tried doing a slow easy recovery run in them just to break them in but did not feel great. I'd done tempo/speed work in these shoes and that's where it really shines. No heel slippage
Legit
Finally the perfect saucony trainer! Great on easy runs and at faster paces. Fit and design is legit. Light weight and nimble with the perfect amount of cushioning. Only have about 20 miles on them so far so the only unknown is the durability of the outsole. Hopefully can get more miles out of these than the endorphins speed.
