Completely updated with a new look and ride, Saucony added a thicker bed of their soft and lightweight PWRRUN foam to give you more cushion and spring in every step. Extra heel beveling provides soft landings and smooth transitions for an easy ride whether you’re walking or running.
The Echelon’s roomy fit throughout gives your toes plenty of space to splay and is perfect to wear when you are on your feet all day. Plus, a thicker PU sockliner adds extra cushioning or can be easily removed to fit custom orthotics or an insole.

Good Shoes From A Good Store
I received a gift from my son and his wife of a gift card for Fleet Feet. I like to buy shoes online and have used another service to do so. I had heard of Fleet Feet and have passed a nearby store several times. I waited until after Christmas and bought this shoe on sale. Was it the lowest price? No, but it was a fair price. Fleet Feet did and excellent job of getting it delivered quickly, and I liked how it was packaged too. I have owned Saucony in the past, but it has been a long time. This shoe was exactly as described, and it is light-weight but durable. It was a great result from a very good process!

The Most Comfortable Shoes I've Worn
I love my shoe so much! I wore it for my first 5k and it did disappoint. In the long run I believe this shoe is best fitted for light runs and workout in the gym. As comfortable as it is I am unsure of how it will feel for longer and further runs. I would totally buy another pair in the future!

Saucony Echelon 9 delivers
Use this show for marathon training. Well constructed shoe with solid insole firm yet comfortable sole with just enough curve that it's not rocketing me forward with each step. Upper is comfortable. Toe box (for this wide model) is roomy. The fabric is very breathable even in our hot climate.
