Details
- Upper: Engineered mesh keeps things light and breathable without sacrificing structure. The heel and midfoot fit snugly, the toebox gives your toes room to wiggle and the heel collar adds just enough padding for comfort on long runs. Your foot goes in, locks down and stays there.
- Midsole: Three layers of On’s CloudTec pods sit between you and the road, compressing on landing and springing back on takeoff. On's Helion superfoam delivers dynamic cushioning and impact absorption, while the nylon Speedboard plate adds a touch of forward propulsion without making this feel like a race shoe. The rocker geometry rolls you through each step naturally, so running feels less like effort and more like momentum.
- Outsole: The CloudTec bottom unit features a redesigned Cloud shape, geometrically engineered for better support and impact absorption. The rubber outsole offers solid traction and durability on road surfaces, with enough grip to hold up in wet conditions.

On made two meaningful changes with the Cloudmonster 3. First, the fit. The upper is redesigned for a more secure, true-to-size feel—snug in the heel and midfoot with just enough room in the toebox. Second, the cushioning. A Helion foam and a triple-layer CloudTec setup replaces the previous dual-layer design, giving you more underfoot depth without losing the responsiveness the shoe is known for. Plus, the stack height bumps up slightly to 35 mm, and the drop moves from 5.5 mm to 6 mm.

Cloudmonster 3! A+
Honest review. Cloudmonster 1: LOVED THEM! My go to short running distance shoe. Cloudmonster 2: What were they thinking? This shoe should have been called the Cloud'dud'. I wear mine as a regular shoe to drive to the store. Cloudmonster 3: This shoe is amazing! Great fit, comfortable, and is back to being my 5K and 10K go to!!!

As advertised and expected when it comes to ON
Of course these are very expensive shoes but this is my second pair and I even ordered my wife a pair of a different model and she loves them too. Like walking on clouds lol but no really. Just hope they will hold up and give me the long reliability that my ASICS have always given me. Fit,,finish, and build quality look great. Again just hope I get the long lasting reliability my ASICS have always given me in the same price range of shoe.

Wonderful Fit and Great Service
Cloudmaster has perfect fit for persons looking for wide foot, normal toe and heel. Cushion is very comfortable, and yet not overly so which I find challenging to run or use for any workouts. I currently use Cloudmaster for casual office attire, my resistance training, and walking. Still prefer Brooks shoe for running because it is lighter. That said I would highly recommend the Cloudmaster shoe for any purpose, and Fleet Feet with their generous return policies, salespeople with their patience as I tried on various shoes and sizes.

Great fit and weight
Absolutely love it. I had the cloudmonster 2, which was great, the 3 is even better !. Stable platform, great cushion, lightweight!
