The Vomero is a long-time favorite running shoe and gets a midsole upgrade with Nike’s ZoomX foam. Made famous in their racing shoes, such as the Nike ZoomX Alphafly Next % and Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2, this lightweight foam gives you high energy return throughout your run. Nike combined this foam with Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot for a snappy, responsive feel as you toe-off.
Designers fine-tuned the upper of the Vomero 16 for more comfort. They added a band at the midfoot for extra support along the sides, which helps you adjust the lacing for the perfect fit. The U-shaped clip at the heel helps with stability if you run on uneven surfaces. Plus, Nike tested where runner’s feet need the most cooling and used that data to put mesh in key spots, particularly around the toes, for extra ventilation.

I really thought ultra boost were the best when it came to running shoes but after trying these on it has completely changed my mind. These are the best. Money well spent.
I have been having some foot issues, so I purchased the volmero 16s as an easy/everyday trainer. They are very plush and comfortable and have felt great on easy runs, eliminating my foot pain issues. My only complaint is the weight of the shoes. They are too heavy for tempo efforts at 7:15-7:30 min/mile pace and become a little combersome on long easy runs at 8:00 - 8:30 min/mile pace. They feel best when I am doing shorter runs, less than 1 hour, at slower than 8:15 min/mile pace. I would recommend them in a shoe rotation, but I think the pegasus is a better option if a person is only going to use one shoe for everything.
