Features

Get fired up by the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v3โ€™s combination of softness and speed.

This carbon-plated shoe gives you plenty of cushion, forward propulsion and bounce to rack up the miles and keep you moving forward.

During our New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v3 review, run tester Travis said, โ€œThe FuelCell cushioning is very bouncy and fun to run in, and the rocker geometry keeps my momentum moving forward. The carbon-fiber plate gives the midsole some much-needed rigidity that keeps the bouncy cushioning more responsive.โ€

Details:

  • Upper: An engineered mesh upper feels sleek and smooth.
  • Midsole: New Balanceโ€™s bouncy and cushioned FuelCell foam is combined with a carbon plate and Energy Arc geometry for an effortless experience on your runs.
  • Outsole: There is enhanced traction in the forefoot and heel that can help on rainy runs, while New Balanceโ€™s Energy Arc geometry leaves an open outsole channel to give you plenty of propulsion.

New Training Shoe.

The overall feel is light and very responsive on the push-off. This is my new go-to shoe for those short tempo or progression runs.

Legs stop feeling like stompers

Dan A 1 month ago Verified Purchase

These shoes are great. My wife complains my legs are heavy and to be honest they feel it when I run, or should I say did feel it. Not anymore with these bouncy son of a guns on my dogs. Foot hits the ground a boom! They want to take another stride rather than sink into the asphalt. Actively trying to figure out a way to hide the stack height so I can wear them in a race and not get DQโ€™d. Highly recommended for runners that begrudgingly run or runners that want to give their legs and feet a little one-up.

The Best Max Cushion Trainer

Scott B 4 months ago Verified Purchase

I have had 4 pairs of this shoe. If you love the Rebel Line, this shoe is better with more stable cushioning and a plate. This is a really great long distance trainer for a heavier runner. The fit is true to size.

Very solid/Stiff

I love new balance typically. Never tried anything other than their daily trainer 10 or rebel V4. But these are Just solid bricks. Even at a higher tempo when the carbon plate should be beneficial they still feel like bricks.

New Balance running shoes

My 15yo Cross Country runner said these are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had, and he has experienced no knee pain while running for the first time. His only complaint is some slight tightness on toe/ pinky toe area.
