extra wide
It is always hard finding shoes for my son in wider widths. These were great and very comfortable for all day wear at school. I have purchased two pair for him. I did size up in this shoe because the style runs small than others I have purchased him. It seems I have had to spend more on these shoes from New Balance but the quality is what you pay for. I have bought these brand of shoes for years and my son is now 15 and he has very big wide feet. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I would rather my son have what is good for his feet than skimp on price . I would end up spending more money replacing cheaper quality shoes more often. I am glad Fleet Feet carry extra wide shoes for those who need them.
NB 880 v11
The latest evolution of the 880 is my favorite ride. They are light with the right amount of cushion. I selected them to train for a half marathon. And I bought a half size up from my street shoes. I highly recommend this model for training and race day.
