Mizuno designers wrapped the reshaped Wave Plate in a bed of Mizuno Enerzy midsole foam. Enerzy foam offers next-level cushioning and energy return, while the Wave Plate delivers a stabilized feel with each step. Plus, the Wave Plate is now constructed with sustainable materials.
The support continues through the outsole with the classic Flex Groove design that promotes flexibility in the forefoot for a more secure toe off. X10 rubber on the outsole offers the durability you need to run in your Wave Rider 25 over long miles of daily training and prevents uneven wearing.
The Wave Rider 25 keeps a sustainable trend with the engineered mesh upper that features a recycled PET mesh lining and shoe laces.

Reliable and consistent
This is actually my second pair of 25s this year, and they're just as excellent as the first pair. Which was just as excellent as the 24s. And so on and so forth. I love Wave Riders and so do my feet. Mizuno will have to really screw something up for me to walk away from them. Great job. Just keep the bright colors coming!
