The men's Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 gives you stability and cushion for a comfortable ride.
Mizuno created reliable stability by using its signature Wave Plate technology. The plastic plate embedded into the midsole helps mitigate the effects of overpronation, keeping the shoe from wearing out prematurely.
Surrounding the plate is a cushion of Mizuno’s Enerzy foam. The new foam composition is softer and bouncier than foams used in previous versions of the shoe, which gives the Inspire 17 a cushier landing and smoother transition.
A soft and smooth mesh upper creates a comfortable fit that breathes easily when your workout heats up, and a secure internal heel counter locks your foot into place to prevent rubbing or chafing.
With a new underfoot feel with the same stability you can count on, the men's Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 meets all your needs.

The biggest change to the Wave Inspire 17 is the use of Mizuno Enerzy foam. The foam is softer and bouncier than Mizuno’s U4icX foam that was used in previous models.
The Inspire 17 is a stability shoe, which means it’s effective for runners who overpronate. The extra stability features are more durable to help mitigate the effects of excessive pronation on the inside edge of the shoe. Even though it’s in the stability category, neutral runners can still wear it comfortably.

Ive got screwed up feet from abuse and these shoes feel great. Padded but light weight

Great shoe fits nicely, very comfortable. A very good -lookíng. I haven't had a chance to give this shoe a good workout
Wave is just a ripple
As someone who overpronates, I used to love Mizuno Waves. I've used multiple generations of them for jogging and walking for more than 10 years. The Inspire 17, however, does not have as much support. The hard plastic wedge has been reduced in size; Mizuno needs to beef it back up.
