The Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 WAVEKNIT gives you stability and cushion for a comfortable ride.
Mizuno created reliable stability by using its signature Wave Plate technology. The plastic plate embedded into the midsole helps mitigate the effects of overpronation, keeping the shoe from wearing out prematurely.
Surrounding the plate is a cushion of Mizuno’s Enerzy foam. The new foam composition is softer and bouncier than foams used in previous versions of the shoe, which gives the Inspire 17 a cushier landing and smoother transition.
A soft WAVEKNIT upper creates a comfortable fit that breathes easily when your workout heats up, and a secure internal heel counter locks your foot into place to prevent rubbing or chafing.
With a new underfoot feel with the same stability you can count on, the Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 WAVEKNIT meets all your needs.

The biggest change to the Wave Inspire 17 is the use of Mizuno Enerzy foam. The foam is softer and bouncier than Mizuno’s U4icX foam that was used in previous models.
The Inspire 17 is a stability shoe, which means it’s effective for runners who overpronate. The extra stability features are more durable to help mitigate the effects of excessive pronation on the inside edge of the shoe. Even though it’s in the stability category, neutral runners can still wear it comfortably.
Fleet Feet reviewers love the classic, secure fit and updated underfoot feel. The Inspire 17 accommodates a range of different foot shapes, and it locks in the heel and midfoot. Mizuno Enerzy foam also gives the shoe a comfortable ride.

Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 WAVEKNIT- SWEET
These are exactly what i wanted; a running/walking shoe that is wide and stable all the way through to the heel. Looks like a Nike cross knit shoe but is slightly larger in every dimension- which is perfect for not rolling an ankle. I kinda want to buy 3 pairs so i can have them for a decade.

I've been wearing these shoes for as long as I can remember and they haven't failed me yet! They are perfect for my runs and every time I have tried a different shoe, I always end up coming back to the Wave Inspire.
