Great golf shoes
Due to an injury I haven't run in them yet, but did use them for 18 holes of golf. They fit great and really did grip the ground. They are a heck of a lot better than the old leather shoes I used to wear. I only wear HOKA Arahi when I run, walk, mow the grass, etc because of their stabilization. The Speedgoat 7 feels very much the same. Only thing I wish it had was the old thicker tongue.

These are just like all other Hoka's very comfortable but also with extra grip.

Great trail runners
They’re pretty supportive have and have great grip. They’re also quite light and easy to carry. Comfort wise they’re also pretty decent but if you have flatter feet the arch support will make them pretty sore over time, but overall a great shoe.

Back to the Classic Speedgoat
I mostly use my trail shoes for obstacle course racing so I'm looking for more of a technical shoe that gives comfort. This delivers and did not cause any uncomfortable blisters or rubbing for over a half marathon distance. Can't speak to comfort for Ultras, but I'd be willing to attempt them in this shoe.

Using for golf
Can't really rate now as I have not used them yet, however I love my Arahai shoes and thought these might be great for golf as I have bunions, but after returning Speedgoat 13, I replaced with same in wide version...have not worn them yet, but still feel a little tight...but will keep them hoping that they will loosen up and fell as good as my regular Hokas...after that I will be able to give them a fair rating..I feel going for a 14 would be too big..my feet are really closer to a 12.
