HOKA Skyward X Review
The HOKA Skyward X promises to deliver the supertrainer experience with a carbon plate, PEBA midsole foam and a whopping stack height.
Miles feel effortless in the HOKA Skyward X.
This supremely cushioned trainer takes soft and smooth to the extreme. It features HOKA's groundbreaking suspension system with a convex carbon fiber plate that compresses and springs back with every stride. A highly resilient PEBA foam sits closest to your foot for lively, cloud-like cushioning, while a super critical EVA frame provides a stable base below.
In our full review of the HOKA Skyward X, run tester Mandy said, “I felt as if I was rolling through my runs and could run forever. This included both weekend long runs and shorter after-work runs. I liked running hillier sections in these shoes more than flatter sections because the combination of the carbon plate, cushioning and rocker shape allowed me to really let ‘er rip when going downhill.”

The best running shoe I’ve seen so far. It can do it all shoe . Go fast go slow and still comfortable with great stability in the process. I compare this shoe like driving Chevy Tahoe big but comfy.. luxurious… and powerful when needed.!! Simply the best!!! Hopefully they keep the same model around with more colors.
Excellent quality running shoes...ran for 10miles and my feet and knees still felt fresh ...try these before purchasing any other pair of running shoes...trust me you'll be glad you did!
Smooth
This is my 3rd pair. Although one of my heavier Hoka models, it became my primary race shoe. I'll eventually try the new X2, but took advantage of the reduced price on the original.
Fast shipping, thank you
Initially had to figure my lacing for the best comfortable but snug fit. Broke in quickly and are a super comfortable ride with great stability despite the stack height. Would definitely recommend.
This is my second pair of The Skyward. An excellent responsive shoe since I am currently managing a knee issue. I've been walking 2-3 miles 4-5 days per week with no symptoms while walking.
