HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX
Features
Keep your feet warm and dry on any surface with the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX. The GORE-TEX version of the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 has all of the same great features of the standard Challenger, but has the added benefit of GORE-TEX to keep the elements out.
This all-terrain shoe has a premium lightweight and breathable GORE-TEX bootie. The water-resistant mesh upper works well in rain, mud or snow, so you can wear it all year round, which makes it one of the best waterproof shoes out there.
Plus, the upper has many recycled materials in it. The Challenger ATR 6 GTX uses Unifi REPREVE recycled yarn, recycled poly laces, and a mesh, gusseted tongue from recycled materials, so you can feel good wearing this shoe.
Fly through the miles with the Challenger’s EVA midsole and early-stage Meta-Rocker. The rocker will propel you forward, while the EVA cushioning will make you feel like you are running on soft marshmallows, even when the ground is hard and rocky.
This shoe is great for running on the roads or trails because the lugs are grouped closer together than on most trail shoes, which creates a smoother ride on the pavement. These same lugs are more aggressive than your traditional road shoes, which gives a textured outsole that allows for better grip on dirt surfaces and makes it perfect for those easy and moderate trails.
With the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX you can tackle trails or roads in the rain or sunshine.

Howard challenger
I've tried to run for years and always ended up with calf problems. I switched to jokes and so far have been able to run pain free. I'm hoping this continues so I can keep training to do a 5k.
