Hard sole
Not for me. Very hard and not a true size. Maybe great for another runners. I was trying to find a faster shoes for my marathon but I think IââŹâ˘m going to stick to my Hoka Cliftons.
Good...not Great
Overall I do enjoy these but the shoes are a bit narrow and I'm not a fan of the upper (can't really get a good heel lock with the laces). Stability is ok (avoid unevenly paved sidewalks) but love the extra boost the carbon plate provides. Would recommend these for a 10K and under.
Carbon X3
The new shoe has no tongue ( slip in) but no padding under the laces and causes rubbing on the top of the foot. I had to put additional padding in the shoe. The Carbon X 2 was much more comfortable
