Designed to go the distance, the HOKA Bondi X has a tall stack height of soft cushioning that feels great on tired legs. Now spring-loaded with a carbon fiber plate, the Bondi X feels smoother than ever and provides a more efficient, propulsive ride.

During long runs where you want to pick up the pace, the carbon plate adds stability and a firmer toe-off so you can press on the gas. When you’re tired, the 5mm drop and early-stage meta rocker rolls your foot forward for a quick, easy turnover.

This is NOT a Bondi with an X. The lack of padding around the ankle caused sharp pain on the outside of my ankle. The waaay too short and too thin tongue made using the last eye hole impossible. The too bright and garish color scheme prevent them from being an option for work. Hoka please try again and put the X sole into the Bondi. Fleet Feet were awesome to work with in store and online. I will definitely continue using them in the future. I'll still buy the regular Bondi which is the bomb for work and play.

I gave these a try to see if they were any different from the normal Bondi 7s. They are a bit stiffer and more inclined to run in than casual wear. They are less cushioned than normal Bondi 7. Good shoe overall I gave a 4 out of 5 for the shoes because of the difficulty I face walking downstairs while wearing them. They should put a warning on the box about the stairs I almost fell badly. Glad to see more bold color waves form Hoka. I thought the Bondi 7 lacked this pop.
