game changer with the new Hoka One Bondi *
i have definite foot problems from toe to pads etc etc and thought my running days were over years ago until i found the previous model of this shoe that was out then. From the moment i put them on i thought this is the miracle i have been waiting for... and bang the next day i was running with comfort and built my run back up quickly over time with absolutely no discomfort....it was a remarkable shoe and buying them eversince....i am 74 and run 3-6 miles daily....now i was very hesitant to buy the new shoe because i thought...its impossible to improve these shoes and i can save money and buy the older model and be happy...but i splurged and bought and laughed when they delivered them...i told the delivery person you will be getting back in the next few days....i let them sit in the box for about 2 weeks not excited at all about putting them on then one morning i said what the heck...good day to send them back. as i put them on and BOOM...when my foot slipped in on a tight opening it felt like someone put me in the drivers seat of a Maserati....it felt like it was built for my foot from the front to the back and side to side...its impossible to explain...them i tightened them and was stepped out the door and could not believe the first mile...it was like heaven...on the first try i gained 1/2 mph to my speed without trying...it was just natural...the contact with the ground, the comfort of the foot the feeling like i was bear footed since it never moved or felt like it was on....every step was firm, never slipped, perfect take off, no movement of the foot etc etc...so, now this shoe is the best pair i ever owned...the comfort is second to none for me....i highly recommend anyone that stopped running or even walking to buy a pair and if you dont agree then Fleet will take them back after whatever use you throw at them no questions asked.....you may find out that there is a lot more to go and your feet can take you there in the right shoe...good luck
