Shoe Review: HOKA Bondi 8
HOKA updated the Bondi 8 with a softer midsole foam, an extended heel and more sustainable materials.
The endless cushion and comfort of the HOKA Bondi 8 carries you through long runs, recovery days and long hours standing on your feet.
Considered by many to be one of the best cushioned shoes around, a run in the ultra-cushioned Bondi 8 is like going on a joyride. HOKA amplified the Bondi’s core features with a generous bed of ultralight and resilient foam that keeps each step soft and bouncy, while a smooth rolling sensation transitions you effortlessly from heel strike to toe-off.
The Bondi 8’s billowed silhouette highlights its brand-new extended heel geometry that forgives hard landings and encourages a stable and balanced ride.
The plush memory foam collar and cushioned tongue is like a travel pillow for your ankle and the breathable engineered mesh upper keeps your feet cool and comfortable. Despite the massive stack height of the Bondi 8, it feels nimble and light thanks to zonal rubber placements on the outsole that give you confident grip and reduces the weight even further.
With a ride and fit that is so plush and comfortable you have to try it on to believe it, the men's HOKA Bondi 8 is a max cushioned game-changer.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn little pricey but worth it
This is my second pair of these and they are extremely comfortable. These are the best shoes I’ve ever bought they may be expensive but I have foot problems and these help me with those problems a lot.
The heel drop was too low causing lower back pain with 20 minutes of wearing these shoes which was a big disappointment as they felt very comfortable on n my feet.
Great road running shoe for those that want added cushion for road running.
I love the shoes!! The people at the Ogden store ðŸ‘
I’ve had several pairs of Hokas and the Bondi 8 lasted at least 2 months longer than the 7 model. Just bought another pair of 8s
When I could not fin anywhere the Altra Running Paradigm 7 Men's 8.5 Wide shoes which are no rise I decided to try the Hoka low rise. In the end I don't think the Hoka Bondi 8 Extra Wide Men's 8.5 works any better for me. I get two pair so I can alternate shoes every day. When these wear out I will probably try to go back to the no rise which have the same issues for me but I find more comfortable.
I need a shoe with a stiff sole. The small heel drop is very comfortable for me.
Outstanding shoe and comes in wide for an exceptional fit
