Plus, Brooks’ GuideRails® technology supports your body in its natural motion path while keeping excess motion in check.

  • Upper: A new engineered double jacquard mesh upper provides a premium, adaptable fit with a plush heel collar and stretchy heel tab for easy on/off. The sock-like construction wraps your foot in comfort while keeping it secure.
  • Midsole: DNA Tuned cushioning uses larger cells in the heel for soft landings and smaller cells in the forefoot for responsive toe-offs. Brooks’ GuideRail® holistic support system supports your body in its natural motion path while keeping excess movement in check, similar to bumpers on a bowling alley.
  • Outsole: Durable rubber provides reliable traction and long-lasting wear.

Very Loud creaking in them

Not sure why but I've bought this model several times and sometimes I get a pair that creaks the whole I'm walking. This pair is exceptionally obnoxious. I've also noticed that the shoes squeak when I pivot like they hadn't in the past. When they are wet as well, the Squeaking is really pronounced. It wasn't like this a couple of years ago. If you changed materials Brooks, please change back!
