Designers used two types of foam underfoot—BioMoGo DNA and DNA Loft—for a ride that’s both cushioned and responsive, and the fit accommodates a wide range of foot widths and volumes. DNA Loft is the softest foam in the Brooks running shoe lineup, giving cushion to ultra-soft shoes like the men's Brooks Glycerin 17.

Brooks didn’t change much from the Ghost 11 to the Ghost 12, which means fans of the previous shoe will love the new one. New this year, though, is a lighter weight and a redesigned upper that provides security, instant comfort and a sleek new look.

I visited Fleet Feet one day to look at a pair of running shoes. I have never owned a decent pair. The second I walked in Fleet Feet in Athens GA the service was second to none. He looked how I walked and then scanned a 3D image of my feet and ankles. Based on that assessment he then recommended a couple pairs to try. The difference in how the shoes fit and felt was instant!! I have put many miles on my Brooks Ghost 12's and they still look brand new!! I'll be a repeat customer
