Definition of a Super Shoe
This was my first super shoe normally I just race in whatever I train in or maybe a regular carbon plated shoe. It blew away my expectations. It fits wide (for an Asics I have a wide foot high arch/instep and tend to have issues in the brand but this fit fine) or rather standard for other brands. The foam is bouncy and soft without feeling like you are sinking into the shoe. The rubber is holding up well so far as is the upper which is very airy. If I had one complaint (on a personal note I realize this might not be the case for everyone) it's that I wish it was an 8-10mm drop rather than the 5mm.

Best shoe ever!
I was looking for a shoe that would provide comfort. What I got was so much more! These shoes helped correct my form. I had gotten into some bad habits running more off my toes to protect my knees after surgeries. The Metaspeeds allowed me to land mid-foot and the carbon plate propels me forward. I’m 62 and running like I was in my 40’s.

ASICS MetaSpeed Sky Appropriately Named
These shoes are light very fast and easy on the feet. Compared to my Nike Next % they fit better and have a little less bounce. I highly recommend them for serious runners.
