ASICS GEL-Nimbus 28 Review: When Cushioning Feels Like Magic
Unlike the high-speed racing broomstick featured in Harry Potter, the Nimbus 2000, the GEL-Nimbus 28 isn’t built for speed. It’s built for pure comfort.
Land on clouds with the ASICS GEL-Nimbus 28.
One of the most comfortable shoes in the ASICS running lineup, the Nimbus 28 sheds approximately 25 grams while keeping the excellent cushioning that makes longer distances feel smoother and more manageable. The combination of FF BLAST PLUS foam and PureGEL technology creates lightweight and soft landings that help you stay comfortable from your first step to your final mile.

I’m still breaking them in, but so far so good
Fits perfectly, provides stability & plenty of cushion.
Lots of cushioning in the arch and the forward foot pad. Less cushioning in the heal. If you are a running this could be a good shoe for you. If you are a walker or someone looking for heal cushioning to relieve knee stress, you might want to try another shoe. This is my first time purchasing this brand and this type of shoe from them. I took a chance. Not totally unhappy, but I won't be getting another pair. I'll stick with the competitive brand that I've been using.
Very comfortable, I'm a walker not a runner these days but lots of cushion in great looking shoe
Great shoes, but they are noticeably softer than the Nimbus 26 and 27’s. When you’re walking you’ll notice the heel is extremely soft when stepping. Takes a second for your heel to rebound. Overall the shoes are really comfortable and fit true…you’ll just notice a difference if you’ve owned any previous pairs of Nimbus.
