Recycled and sustainable materials bring high performance to the men's ASICS GEL-Kayano Lite 2. Designers built the Kayano Lite 2 with an engineered mesh upper for breathable coverage. The mesh contains more recycled materials than typical running shoe mesh to help divert waste from the landfill. ASICS designed the GEL-Kayano Lite 2 for lightweight stability by constructing it atop a wider base. The expanded footprint provides more surface area on the ground, which creates a more stable landing and toe off. To soften the ride, ASICS used its FLYTEFOAM midsole and signature GEL cushioning technology in the rearfoot and forefoot.
