ASICS FF Blast foam is super-lightweight and provides responsive rebound over long miles or intense speedwork. Signature GEL technology in the heel and forefoot of the Kayano 28 offers shock absorption and cushioning over landings and toe offs.
The GEL-Kayano 28 is an excellent stability shoe for those with low arches, overpronators, or runners who favor a more stabilized feeling on the go. ASICS DYNAMIC DUOMAX technology works with the midsole foam to reduce overpronation and prevent uneven wearing on the outsole.
Plus, 3D Space Construction in the forefoot offers gender-specific compression and added stability throughout the footbed of the shoe.

Gel Kaysno 28 - carries on for 'older' athletes
Been getting this shoe for years. Comfortable and well located support. As an older runner/walker this shoe provides comfortable, confident stability.
Excellent stability and comfort for overpronation
This is my 3rd pair of this model. I overpronate and run around 40 plus miles weekly. Fantastic stability and comfort on short and long runs. I wear the same pair for back to back sessions sometimes and they still feel great and the second run.

Asics 28 quality issue
Tread let loose on shoe in first 30 days tongue is thin when tightening down when using laces to tighten for ankle support. Returned without issue.
