I have been wearing the Altra Torin for years. It is a great shoe, very comfortable. I needed a shoe with a wide toe box and the AT is perfect. I have never had an issue and would highly recommend.
The Altra Torin 8 is sweet. It lives up to it's naming and is improved over the 7. The toe room continues to provide space and the cushion is on point without the stack height being too high. I am looking forward to another season with this shoe.
These shoes fit great and give me the wide toe box that I need. My podiatrist recommended Altra, FLeet Feet guided me to the correct model, and things have been so much better for me! I'm thankful and walking better than i have in a long time!
The fit is great the toe room exceptional.
Shoes fit great and love the wide toe box.
I finally have a pair of shoes that fit my feet!
These give my 3E feet plenty of room to splay the toes. The sole firmness can be described as “Goldilocks “ , firm enough for support yet gives enough to allow your feet to push into it without absorbing too much energy. These Torins are only used for walking and everyday use. Past Altras all had one fatal flaw, they fell apart / wore out within weeks of purchase. That reason kept me away from the brand for years. Hopefully that issue has been resolved.
Ordered wide, but could hardly get them on.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and have a great wide toe box for those looking to have more space for a more natural foot position.
