The Altra Torin 4 just got faster.
Altra took the popular Torin 3.5 and sliced out 2 mm of cushion for a lighter, faster, more responsive ride. Even without those 2 mm, though, the Altra still packs a 26 mm stack height for a protective feel underfoot.
But the changes for the race track didn’t change the shoe’s fit. Altra still used its FootShape fit to give it a wide, foot-shaped toe box that lets your foot splay naturally, and a 0 mm heel-to-toe drop keeps your stance neutral.
At only 9.1 ounces for men and 7.6 ounces for women, the Altra Torin 4 is eager for your fastest miles.
Weight: 9.1 oz (men’s); 7.6 oz (women’s)
Use: Everyday trainer, race day
Surface: Road, track

This is a great fitting shoe for me! I don't have wide feet which seems to be the main complaint of others with wide feet. I use this shoe for easy run days and long walks. Very pleased with these shoes. My only complaint is the same as most running shoes I own they untie very easy, which is solved by tucking in the lace bed. Best advise is try them on at a local Fleet Feet store.
Fast delivery. I like the feel of the 4.0 better than the 3.5 flyknit. I felt like my feet swam a little in the 3.5's. The 4.0's are snugger without feeling tight at all. Great shoe.
I think this is the best Altra shoe I have bought. There is not too much, nor too little cushioning. I took the inserts out for more room and it fit perfectly. I am just now starting back running, but so far it is doing great.
Super light and comfortable. Very happy with my purchase. And the on-line ordering process was quick and easy. Thanks
I have worn Altra trail shoes for awhile, but never found a "road shoe" that I liked. The Torin 4 changed my mind. In early indoor use on machines and light weightlifting, it has performed well. The only negative I have seen so far are the ridiculously thin shoestrings.
