The Altra Torin 4, now with more cushion.
Altra took the Torin 4, added 2 mm of cushion and a knit upper, and released it as the Torin 4 Plush.
The new Plush is Altra’s premium cushioned shoe. Sporting a responsive Quantic midsole, thin strobel layer and Perf-X insole, the Plush cushions your steps like never before. Designers also sewed a sleek knit upper for a cozy step-in feel. Plus, it keeps Altra’s comfortable FootShape design that lets your foot work naturally.
Despite the added cushion, the Plush only weighs about an ounce more than its base Torin 4 cousin: 10.1 oz for the men’s model and 8.5 oz for the women’s.
Weight: 10.1oz (men’s), 8.5 oz (women’s)
Use: Everyday trainer, long runs

My fourth pair of altras, so comfortable!
They have reduced the issues with my feet. I've also purchased the Trail Runner and it has further reduced the issues with my feet.
I love, love, love this shoe. It fits great in the toe box. My toes aren't cramped like they are in other shoes. The love the zero drop feature. The shoe has vented mesh over the toe box and has a sturdy fit around the side of the foot and heel. The only drawback I found in this shoe is that the laces are far too long. The overall shoe quality is great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a road running shoe.
Few months ago a went to a store to get a new running shoes. As of last few years I only buy Altra brand as it's best for my feet. Used to love Newtons but they are too narrow for me now and I was getting black nails all the time. After my hip replacement surgery I switched exclusively to well cushioned shoes so I have couple pairs of Olympus. This time I tried tried various Torin and although they feel good in general those new additions to lacing systems at the top made my feet very uncomfortable (I have a high instep). "Old" lacing on Paradigm 4.5 worked very well for me, no discounts on this one though. My wife got this model (Torin Plush) and seems to like it so it's all based on the type of feet you have so it's best to try them on, as always!
Good but took longer to break in.
