Not Very Durable

I recently bought a pair of Torins and while they are comfortable they're not very durable. I put 167 miles on them when the rubber began to come off the heel. Very disappointing. This was my first pair of Altras and I guess it'll be the last. For what they cost I expected they'd hold up better.

Altra Torin 4.5 Plush - Sweet!!!

This shoe is great! It looks and feels amazing. The zero drop and foot shaped box are new to me but didn't take long getting used to. The employee help (Prime - Fleet Feet Forest Acres) was also amazing! Even though I did some research prior, Prime explained the make up of the shoe in detail and was very knowledgeable. He was also very patient and sat through me trying on several different shoes. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock but ordering and shipment were a piece of cake and quick! Definitely going back for my next pari!

Almost perfect for me

Previously, I ran in Escalante 1.5 and then 2. I was looking for a more cushioned Altra, so moved to the Torin 4.5. The cushion and feedback is perfect, but I wish the upper and tongue is offered in the same lighter, flexible knit construction of the Escalantes.
