Feel connected to the ground in this low-profile trail running shoe. The compression-molded EVA foam will keep you nimble and quick as you navigate off-road. The improved MaxTrac™ outsole gives you the perfect combination of grip, traction and durability to summit mountains and barrel downhill.

To give you a better experience on the trails, Altra re-engineered the upper with ripstop and vamp mesh materials that help reduce the weight and improve the shoe’s breathability. Plus, the burrito-style tongue wraps around your foot to keep trail debris out and provide a lockdown fit.

The Superior 6 features all of Altra’s signature characteristics. There is the same amount of foam in the heel and forefoot for balanced cushioning or a zero heel-to-toe drop. The toe box is also wider than standard shoes to give your toes room to splay for more comfort and better balance.
