When you first slip on the Paradigm 6, you’ll notice your toes can stay straight and have extra room to wiggle due to Altra’s FOOTSHAPE™ toe box design. As you lace up, a mesh material wraps around the medial (inner) side of your foot to hug your arch and prevent excessive pronation. This is thanks to Altra’s INNOVARCH™ and GUIDERAIL™ technologies that work to support your arch and heel to give the foot natural stability and guidance.
Once you're up and on your feet for your walk, run or long day at work, the Paradigm 6 uses a balanced bed of Altra EGO Max Midsole™ cushioning for a soft and bouncy ride. Plus, the Paradigm’s zero-drop heel-to-toe difference takes pressure off the ball of your foot and encourages a softer landing while walking and running.

I had a problem with my metatarsal that was so painful with every step I took. Immediately, when I tried on my 1st pair of Altra shoes the pain went away!!! Since then I only wear Altra’s
I have wide feet, collapsed arches, and I over pronate. These are by far the best long distance shoes I have ever owned. I’ve tried other brands such as Hoka and Brooks in wide and I still had a bit of a pinch on my pinky toe. Due to Altra Paradigm 6 being foot shaped, my toes have the right amount of room. I ran my first marathon in one of these and I am currently on my second pair. Good job Altra!
Best shoe I have for my big ol' Flintstone feet, this side of the Altra Rivera and the Altra Torin 5. A true blessing when I struggle to find good fitting shoes. and now, the Paradigm 6 gives me the support on the days when I am not in my best, most efficient form. Keeps me from rolling out and in.

This is the ONLY store you should be going to for running shoes. You won't find a staff as friendly and knowledgeable as this one. I am not even a runner and I still get VIP treatment!!! They are so patient and honestly just want you to be happy. If you go anywhere else...well that's your mistake. If they don't have something in your size or color they will get it...just for you. Hands down the best customer service you are gonna get!!! Valerie I can't thank you enough...my feet have never been happier!!!
