Shatter your personal records with the adidas Adizero Adios Pro 2. This racing shoe is designed for explosive speed over long distances to help you achieve your goals. The light and breathable shoe has a carbon plate and carbon rods to give you a bouncy, responsive ride, mile after mile.
The Lightstrike Pro foam provides great energy return and a nice, bouncy ride. Adidas also revamped the construction of the midsole from the original version to provide more energy return.
The ultra-lightweight, partially recycled polyester upper, named Celermesh 2.0, is created for speed with flexibility, breathability and targeted support based on data from real runners.
Not only is there a carbon plate under the heel, but this shoe also contains Energyrods, which are carbon rods that sit in the forefront of the shoe. This tuned and lightweight stiffness allows for more anatomical-driven transitions and powerful propulsion.
Finally, the Adizero Adios Pro 2 has a Continental™ Rubber outsole, which allows for great traction, even in wet conditions.
These shoes have been approved for official competition by World Athletics under the new guidelines.

What’s New
The upper of this shoe uses new materials, called Celermesh 2.0, which allows for the shoe to have a light, airy feel, while still locking your foot down in the midfoot. The toebox is more generous than the previous version, and the wide, flat tongue has enough padding to be comfortable, but does not get in the way.
Adidas changed the midsole geometry, taking out part of the medial side and exposing the rods.

Fast Shoe
Every time I wear these I shave about 15 seconds off my mile pace. They took a couple runs to get used to but now I love them. This is my second pair.
