The HOKA ONE ONE Speedgoat 4 will take you wherever you want to go.
HOKA delivered the new ‘Goat with a more accommodating toe box than the previous version and a lighter, more responsive midsole. But the soul is all Speedgoat.
A host of 5 mm lugs will help you keep your footing on the trail, and Vibram MegaGrip rubber gives the shoe traction on slippery rocks and roots. Like all HOKA running shoes, the Speedgoat 4 has a beefy midsole that protects your feet from rugged trails.
Fleet Feet testers laced up the shoe for the HOKA Speedgoat 4 review, and they praised the improved fit and burly upper.
With a big stack height and comfortable fit, the HOKA ONE ONE Speedgoat 4 is ready for anything.

'Chose these for a favorite switchback loop that has rocks and debris that are perfectly sized to bruise the @@& out of your skinny shoe wearing arch if ya misstep- these open it all up to grinding out longer-rough surfaced sections when your legs are almost done -and foot placement starts getting imprecise and sloppy- ya can plow on through it with these. The cushiness however- results a bit looser of a fit. They roll out on the on off camber edge-of-foot technical moves. Big spongy blob soles. I deff like em- but i have some lighter, minimalist flatter soled "others" that encourage strengthening of my ankles and feet- and are more universal. These are a great addition to the quiver however, and will open up longer distances on rougher terrain you to keep pushing it.
I've been using the shoes for about 70 miles now, love them so far! At first I thought the thick cushion would feel weird, but it feels amazing, I can barely feel the rocks when I'm on the trails. If you are looking for trail running shoes for technical terrains, those are it!
