To keep your legs feeling fresh as you go the distance, HOKA brought the cushioning to life through a supercritical foaming process and added extra height in the midsole of the new Cielo X 2 LD, so you’ll have some extra gas in the tank when it’s time for your final kick.

Coming in at just 3.7 ounces, this carbon-plated speed demon feels faster and more responsive than ever and has a breathable lace-knit upper that gives you a confident, race-ready fit.

Made with a carbon fiber plate in accordance with World Athletics’ guidelines, HOKA overhauled the U Cielo X 2 LD. Designers added more cushioning to the midsole and used a new, supercritical foaming process combined with a slightly stiffer Pebax ® spike plate to give you a snappier, faster ride. A newly designed lace-knit upper is ultra-light to give you a secure and race-ready fit.

If trying to up your game or need a 3200m track shoes: These may be your new favorite kicks. Warning: this is not a road shoe but a track shoe only. I tested on both a traditional track and a older cinder track. Good for 1600m-10k track events.
