This GPS running watch is light on your wrist, but full of training and recovery features to help you achieve your goals. The Forerunner 255S Music features easy-to-use buttons and a silicone band in a smaller package than the Forerunner 255 Music, so that it fits and performs perfectly on your wrist for those sweaty workouts. This watch accesses multiple global navigation satellite systems to track your runs, walks, bikes, swims and more. It has over 30 different activity profiles that it can track, which now includes triathlons.

You can listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts and more on your run. The Forerunner 255S Music allows you to download up to 500 songs, plus playlists from your Spotify, Deezer or Amazon Music accounts (subscription may be required).

You can track your distance, pace, elevation, heart rate and more for each run to help you train better. Not only can you create workouts and send them to your watch, but the Forerunner 255S Music has daily suggested workouts and course details on its race widget to help you train your best. Plus, Garmin improved the battery life of the Forerunner 255S Music, so you can train up to 26 hours in GPS mode (up to 5.5 hours with music) or wear it for up to 12 days in smartwatch mode before needing to recharge.

Stay safe on your runs, thanks to LiveTrack, which lets friends and family follow your real-time location and view your pre-planned course. Plus, If you feel unsafe or if your watch senses that an incident occurred, the Assistance and incident detection features send your location to emergency contacts.

The Garmin Forerunner 255S Music is great to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle—it tracks your steps, stress level, heart rate, sleep and more, so you know how your body is moving and recovering throughout the day. Plus, you can receive emails, texts and alerts right on your watch when paired with your Apple® or Android™ smartphone. You can even respond to texts if you have an Android phone, so you can leave your phone on the charger and enjoy life without worrying about missing an important text or phone call.

Not worth the money

Lucas 9 months ago Verified Purchase

Overall it works fine with the exception of music. Being that the product has music in the name very disappointed with not being able to listen to music without it constantly skipping. Garmin tech support very unhelpful besides saying try some other headphones. Not even able to publish a list of supported headphones. I wouldn't mind buying a new pair of headphones if I knew what I could pick from. All they say is the bluetooth antenna is small because it's a watch and I need bigger headphones. Also I keep having to manually update music when it expires. Why can't you do that automatically?

Loving my Garmin

Dana S 1 year ago Verified Purchase

I love my new Garmin 255S Music. It has all the functionality that I need. My only wish is that it was a bit more intuitive. However the staff at Princeton's Fleet Feet were absolutely amazing especially after I ordered the wrong size. they quickly helped me get the product I needed and I didn't miss a beat during my runs. Love this store.
