Features

The Garmin Fenix 6 makes quick work of your training.

Like other Garmin watches, designers built the base model Fenix 6 to help you train smarter. The timepiece taps into GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellite systems to give you accurate time, pace and location tracking, and a wrist-based heart rate monitor and Pulse Ox sensor help you dial in your intensity.

The Fenix 6’s 47mm diameter sits between the smaller Garmin Fenix 6S (42mm) and larger Garmin Fenix 6X (51mm), and it houses a 1.3” color display behind a durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3 lens.

A rechargeable lithium battery powers the watch for up to 14 days in smartwatch mode, but it can last even longer in more efficient modes.

Garmin Fenix 6 battery life:

  • Smartwatch: Up to 14 days
  • GPS: Up to 36 hours
  • Max Battery GPS Mode: 72 hours
  • Expedition GPS Activity: 28 days
  • Battery Saver Watch Mode: 48 days

In the Garmin Fenix 6 review, a Fleet Feet tester praised the long battery life, saying it will get you through almost any adventure you can imagine.

The base model packs a huge suite of features into a rugged and stylish watch, so you’ll never want to train without it.
