It turns the Coros PACE 4 into a training journal you don't have to sit down to write.

Everything else is built around staying out of your way. The body is 11.8 mm thin and the whole watch comes in at 32 grams with the nylon band, or 40 grams with silicone, which is light enough to wear through the night without thinking about it. A 1.2 inch tapered AMOLED touchscreen keeps your splits readable in direct sun and on a dark morning both. Battery runs up to 41 hours in GPS mode and 19 days in daily use, so a long training block and the sleep tracking that goes with it won't leave you hunting for a charger.

The training tools are where the PACE 4 earns its place in your build-up. COROS Running Fitness tracks how your engine is developing over time, Race Predictor gives you a realistic target based on what you've actually run, and Virtual Pacer keeps you honest on the day. Personalized marathon plans structure the weeks in between. On the recovery side, the watch tracks your steps, sleep, HRV and menstrual cycles, so you can see how your body is responding to the load you're putting on it.
