Jeff Theus

“Three years ago, I went in for my annual physical. I was told I needed to lose 25 pounds immediately and my doctor wanted to put me in the hospital. I had high blood pressure and was pre-diabetic. The challenge was to get moving and keep moving while changing my eating habits. With the support of good friends, who never judged me and offered encouragement every step of the way, I lost 45 pounds and have kept it off. They wouldn't let me quit. Running gave me the challenge that I needed to improve my overall fitness. I know I can improve, and that is all the incentive I need. The discipline and the fellowship that comes with my running community is as big motivator for me to take on new challenges.” - HOKA fan Jeff Theus from Fleet Feet Greenville, NC #humansofHOKA
