Benjamin Dicke

“So many of the most significant moments in my life have been related to running. I'll never forget my first marathon, which took place on a regular Tuesday up in Wisconsin as part of Dean Karnazes’ 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. I got to share an intimate four hours with thirty athletes who all came out to support this inspiring runner in his absurd effort. But, crossing the finish line of the Leadville Trail 100 and having runners, crew members, families and friends cheering as I completed a race that sometimes felt impossible is a glory that I can rarely, if ever match. I've thought a lot about the 100-mile distance, having now completed eight races of them. The hundred is the perfect metaphor for nearly everything you will come up against in life. It truly is life in a day. It reminds you that you can fight the tough battles.” - HOKA fan Benjamin Dicke from Fleet Feet Chicago - Lakeview, IL #humansofHOKA
