When describing Ruth’s approach to her role, the immortal words from President Theodore Roosevelt come to mind, “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” While she’ll never be accused of talking too loudly, she’s unmatched in terms of her prowess in crafting and creating engaging visual presentations of the brand’s initiatives, products, and content for sharing through weekly newsletters.

Ruth grew up in Escondido, Calif., and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo having majored in business administration. Ruth made her way to the East Coast, taking a job at Bloomingdale’s as a creative project manager, before coming to Fleet Feet in 2016. When her husband’s musical career drew them to Nashville, Tenn., Ruth became the first (and only) member of the Nashville Store Support Team and now works remotely from the comfort of her home with her dog Ginny and cat June.

In addition to driving all aspects of newsletter communication, including list segmentation and database management, Ruth helps spearhead internal efforts related to the brand’s communication platform, FranConnect. During her free time, Ruth is out supporting her husband at gigs around Nashville, traveling to catch up with family, or recording and sharing videos of the adorable antics of her pets.
