When people talk about the heart and soul of Fleet Feet, Robyn’s name almost always comes up. A passionate and magnetic executive, Robyn oversees all franchise development opportunities, traveling across the country to meet with prospective owners, conversion candidates, and Fleet Feet store employees to discuss the pathway to ownership.
Currently the longest-tenured employee at Fleet Feet, Robyn started with the brand in 1993 as a part-time outfitter in the original Fleet Feet in Sacramento. She joined the Store Support Team staff in 1995 as a franchise support coordinator, and her get-it-done attitude worked particularly well then as the staff was limited to a handful of folks. As the brand grew, so did her responsibility, and she rose up to the position of director of communications and marketing, a role that had her oversee and manage the brand’s annual franchise conference. In 2013, she earned a promotion to her current role, and she still oversees all conference planning and execution as well as serves as one of the brand’s unofficial historians.
Originally from Connecticut, Robyn attended Brandeis University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in American studies and became an All-American in the 400 meters. She now resides in Carrboro with her husband, Scott, their son, Michael, and their beloved dog, Bear Larson.
