Laurel began working in accounting in 2004 at an architecture firm in Boston before moving to a pharmaceutical engineering company. She joined the Fleet Feet team in March 2019 as an accounting administrative assistant.

Laurel grew up as a runner, and actually found out she had been accepted into the University of Tennessee right after she finished an eight-mile run—so running has been tied to one of her fondest memories. Since then, running has been a way to give her mind a break and find some time to herself.
