Abbey has had her hand in marketing for Fleet Feet since 2015 when she became the director of marketing and outreach for Fleet Feet in Pittsburgh, Pa. There, she found a passion for community outreach and events, spearheading and coordinating events like the Holiday Lights Run, a holiday-themed run that raised money for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Abbey hails from Williamsport, Pa., (yes, the town famous for hosting the Little League World Series) and recently married her husband, Sam. She came into her current role in January 2018, and her natural ability to sweat the details makes her a natural at keeping the marketing department sane and organized. Abbey now coordinates the launch of national marketing outreach initiatives like Workplace Fit, spearheads logistics for the brand’s national 5K, The Big Run, and manages all weekly marketing communication to franchisees.

When not in the office, you’ll find Abbey exploring the great outdoors, camping, or keeping in touch with her Big Brothers, Big Sisters little, Cheyenne. She may occasionally relax long enough to watch her fictional spirit animal, Liz Lemon, in reruns of “30 Rock,” or catch up with her own real-life hero, her mom.
