Skechers started in 1992 with a logger boot. They expanded into different types of footwear, making casual sneakers in the mid-nineties. In 2011, they created their running performance line of shoes with the GoRun lineup. This was also the year they signed professional runner Meb Keflezighi, who won the Boston Marathon in a pair of Skechers.
