Despite the On Cloudflow 4’s increased stack height, it hasn’t increased in weight. Part of this can be attributed to the shoe’s new engineered woven upper, which is made from 100-percent recycled polyester. It’s thin, lightweight, and hugs your foot just right.
“The upper in the Cloudflow 4 feels light and airy, while having just a touch of padding in the heel collar to keep things comfortable,” says Caroline. “The tongue is thin and stretchy, with seemingly no extra padding, which makes me think this shoe is designed for uptempo runs and maybe even races. A quick run in the shoe confirmed my suspicions.”
Reviewers appreciated the true-to-size fit of the Cloudflow 4, noting that it offers a tad more room in the forefoot than previous versions while still providing a secure, lock-down fit.
“When I first put the Cloudflow on my feet, it wrapped around each of them like a burrito,” Mandy says.
Reviewers also appreciated the sleek, stylish aesthetic of the shoe—a feature On running shoes have been known for since their inception in 2010.
