Frequently Asked Questions about Currex Insoles
There are two key features in all Currex insoles. First, all Currex insoles have different arch heights—low, medium and high. This helps to keep the foot in its optimal biomechanical position and reduce excessive foot motion within the shoe.
The second is that each insole has dynamic arch technology (DAT). DAT engages the muscles of the foot and works in natural synergy with it. It’s a flexible arch shape with just the right amount of rigidity which creates sensory stimulation underfoot and midfoot guidance on impact. Then, when released, it returns the stored energy to the foot. This stimulation reduces stress on joints, ligaments and tendons to help avoid injuries.
1. Remove the standard insole from your shoe.
2. Place the standard insole on top of the Currex insole so the heels of the two soles are flush with each other.
3. Cut along the front of the sole.
4. Put the Currex insole into your shoes. Make sure there are no wrinkles.
Tip: You can mark along the length of the Currex insole with a pen. There are also guidelines on the back of the insole for easy trimming.
When the top layer of your Currex insole shows signs of significant wear, it’s probably time to change your insoles. The outer material is breathable, which, in combination with the special layers beneath, helps maintain optimum moisture management inside the shoe. The nylon composite provides a lifespan of about 500 to 900 miles, depending on body weight and wear.
Brush with warm water and soap. Before wearing the insole next, you must ensure that it is thoroughly dry. They should not be machine-washed.
